About Inma Sharii
Inma Sharii is the author of En mis ojos te verás, Irania, and Origen Anunnaki. Her literary work is shaped by mysticism, restless spirits, broken characters, paranormal events, premonitions, lucid dreams, reincarnation, and questions about the origin of humanity.
As a painter, Inma finds deep inspiration in Indian culture — its colors, architecture, music, dance, clothing, jewelry, sacred atmosphere, and feminine presence. Her connection with India has grown through travel, dance, inner memory, and a long relationship with Bollywood and Hindu artistic expression.
As a muralist, she extends her artistic language into physical spaces, creating custom wall paintings that transform homes, interiors, exteriors, businesses, and personal environments into meaningful visual experiences.
As an art therapist, Inma approaches creativity as a path of healing, self-discovery, consciousness, and transformation. She does not separate art from life. For her, painting and writing are not only forms of expression; they are paths of remembrance.
Inma’s website brings together the many dimensions of her work: original paintings, novels, murals, spiritual reflections, exhibitions, events, and direct contact for collectors, readers, collaborators, and people who feel connected to her creative universe
From Inma to Sharii
The Metamorphosy
I was born in the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, and my parents named me Inma.
As a child, I had a natural talent for drawing, but I did not receive the support I needed to develop fully as an artist. I began following paths that looked useful from the outside, but inside, they slowly disconnected me from who I truly was.
When you cannot be who you are, something inside you begins to break
For years, I searched for my place in the world. I started studies and professions that I later abandoned because they did not fulfill me. I tried to become useful to the system, but every path that denied my creative nature left me with a deeper sadness.
I did not fit anywhere
I was not unhappy because I had no direction. I was unhappy because I had denied myself the possibility of becoming the artist I had always been.
Then life stopped me.
A skiing accident forced me into stillness. At first, it seemed like an accident. Later, I understood it as a rupture, a reset, a before and after in the way I lived, thought, and understood the world.
That moment opened the beginning of my spiritual journey.
I began asking the questions that would change my life:
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What is the meaning of this existence?
What is the invisible thread that connects everything?

Synchronicities began to appear. Books arrived at the right moment. Signs appeared in unexpected ways. A universe I had once rejected as an atheist slowly opened before me.
Eastern philosophy, especially Taoism, resonated deeply within me. I began to understand that the world is much more than matter, and that we are holistic beings: mind, body, soul, memory, energy, and consciousness
I trained as a holistic therapist.
I began meditating.
I recorded my dreams.
I listened to my intuition.
My dreams became a portal to the unconscious.
And from that inner world, a new name began to emerge.
Sharii.
Not a name invented for the world, but one that felt remembered from within.
Sharii became the symbol of my transformation — the part of me that had crossed the crisis, listened to the soul, and returned to creation
Dreams, Writing and the Birth of a Literary World

My dreams were not simple images. They came to me like narratives — vivid, symbolic, emotional, and alive.
Every morning, I wrote them down.
From that practice, my literary voice began to take shape. That is how my first novel, En mis ojos te verás, was born: a story of spiritual innocence, angels, spirits, kindness, and unconditional love
But my search had only begun.
My thirst for knowledge told me there were still missing pieces. New Age spirituality gave me some answers, but not all. I moved from the question “Who am I?” to a deeper and more unsettling question:
What is this world we live in, really?
From that search came Origen Anunnaki. I wrote the draft and kept it hidden for years because I felt the world was not yet ready to hear its message. The question remained alive in me:
Are we ready to discover our true origin?

The writing process was so emotionally intense that I needed a break. Once again, life had another big change prepared for me.
By then, I had already started Indian dance classes and had traveled to India for the first time. That country captivated me in an inexplicable way. Its music, dance, architecture, colors, and energy felt deeply familiar.

Then came Irania, one of my most personal novels. Written in the first person, it allowed me to explore the depths of the soul through regression, reincarnation, esoteric experience, emotional intensity, and a critical view of systems that often seem to maintain illness rather than heal it.
Through all three novels, writing became a way to explore the invisible: memory, trauma, spirit, dreams, reincarnation, mystery, and the possibility that human life is far greater than what we are taught to see.
A Creative Universe Between Barcelona and India

India entered my life first as fascination — then as recognition.
By then, I had already begun Indian dance classes and had traveled to India for the first time. That country captivated me in a way I could not explain. Its music, dance, architecture, colors, clothing, sacred atmosphere, and energy felt deeply familiar.
It was not only admiration.
It felt like memory.
I began to paint India almost without planning it. The inspiration came from the music I danced to, the saris, the jewelry, the faces, the movement, my fellow dancers, and the inner images that seemed to rise from somewhere beyond conscious thought.
That is how my collection BCN to Bollywood began.
At first, I did not know why I painted Indian women. When people asked me, I had no answer.
Then one day, as I was leaving my studio holding one of my paintings, an elderly man looked at the portrait and said:
“That was you.”
Those words stayed with me.
They opened a door to memories, dreams, past-life impressions, and synchronicities that gave new meaning to my connection with India
The name of the collection was inspired by the idea of a journey, like an airplane ticket marking a destination:
BCN to Bollywood.
From Barcelona to India.
From West to East.
From the visible world to the remembered self.
All my journeys, my art, and my books have truly been a path back to myself — a path to remember, recognize, and reunite with who I am.
Ultimately, it is a return to the light.

BCN to Bollywood
A Cross-Cultural Art Collection
BCN to Bollywood is Inma Sharii’s cross-cultural painting collection inspired by Indian women, traditional clothing, jewelry, Mughal-style architectural details, Bollywood dance, Hindu dance, color, and the beauty of Eastern feminine expression.
The collection began in 2012 with Woman in a Red Sari and concluded in 2018 with Bollywood Diva. It was later presented as a solo exhibition in November 2023 at ARTIS8 Gallery in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
Through this series, Inma does not paint India as a distant subject. She paints India as an emotional and spiritual landscape — a place of recognition, memory, beauty, and feminine presence.
The collection brings together:
- Realistic portraiture.
- Indian clothing and jewelry.
- Mughal-inspired visual details.
- Bollywood and Hindu dance influences.
- Feminine symbolism.
- Cross-cultural memory.
- The relationship between Barcelona and India

At its heart, BCN to Bollywood is a visual bridge between cultures.
It is a tribute to India, but also a tribute to the inner journey of a woman who found part of herself through another land.

Artist Statement
All my journeys, my art, and my books have been a path back to myself.
I create because I believe the soul remembers.
It remembers through dreams.
It remembers through symbols.
It remembers through colors, faces, music, movement, and places that feel familiar before we understand why.
My paintings are born from that memory.
My novels are born from the questions that never leave me.
My murals are born from the desire to bring beauty, meaning, and atmosphere into living spaces.
My connection with India, my spiritual search, and my transformation from Inma to Sharii are all part of the same path: the path of remembering who I am beneath the noise of the world.
I paint women not only as figures of beauty, but as carriers of memory, culture, mystery, and inner strength.
I write stories not only to entertain, but to open doors — to the unconscious, to the invisible, to the possibility that our lives are connected to something much older and greater than we imagine.
For me, art is not decoration.
Writing is not escape.
Creation is a return.
A return to the self.
A return to the soul.
A return to the light.
