The resurgence of Ishvari

Ishvari embodies radical transformation: to be reborn from one’s own ashes, to bloom from the mud. Without witnesses or external recognition, the figure undergoes her evolution accompanied only by the symbolic—the peacock—reminding us that true growth is intimate and solitary.

A magical work, in which a woman rests on a mantle of water lilies and lotus flowers.Details of golden bread on the feathers of the peacock. To obtain the skin tones, several layers of fine glazing were necessary with the technique of sfumato. The result is a work of great realism, luminosity and beauty.
